The BrainXperience charity project goes one step further in 2017, and is ready to face a challenge never before in the history of motor boating. This year, JoaquÃn Inglada will navigate alone for 15 days and 2000 nautical miles around the Iberian Peninsula.
The main objective is to create greater awareness of people suffering from physical and organic disabilities, as well as to raise funds for Doctor Clavel Foundation, in its fight against infantile hydrocephalus in developing countries, and for Isabel Gemio Foundation.
This adventure in favor of Doctor Clavel Foundation and Isabel Gemio Foundation also has the collaboration of various entities such as Amputats Sant Jordi, COCEMFE, Institut Desvern, Ottobock and Port Forum to help JoaquÃn to complete the challenging feat.
Navigation begins on July 31 from Fuenterrabia, Guipuzcoa, and will entail a course that will take JoaquÃn through the Cantabrian Sea, along the Portuguese coast and through the Mediterranean Sea to reach the finishing line in Barcelona 15 days later. Sport is an excellent rehabilitation tool that improves the quality of life of disabled people and promotes daily improvement, and JoaquÃn Inglada, together with Doctor Clavel Foundation, wants to convey this message with the BrainXperience 2017 solidarity challenge.
We encourage you to collaborate with the BrainXperience project and continue the adventure through Doctor Clavel Foundation's Facebook.
